About Charlie The Cat

About Charlie The Cat

My birth mum’s name is Outoftheblu Lorelie and dad’s is Bajimbi Prinz Valentino. I have 3 sisters and 4 brothers who also have fancy names.

My birth name is Bajimbi Prinz Levi. My human mum named me Charles Prinz Valentino Jr. This is quite a mouthful, so I am now known as Charlie.

Much easier to remember.

I come from a long line of pedigree Burmese cats and apparently my colour is lilac. Although, looking in the mirror I don’t think my fur looks lilac. More a pale dove grey shade with a pinkish tinge, which makes me the handsome cat I am.

I live with my human family in Sydney, Australia and I have heard them say I have a brilliant mind, am cute and funny, so it must be true.

When my mum was looking to buy a kitten, I decided to climb over my brother’s and sister’s backs to get to her, as she looked like someone I wanted to share a home and have fun times with.

The truth is, I chose her but I humour Mum, to let her think she chose me.

Since my kittenhood I have always had an opinion on life, news, politics and world events and everything else. Instead of sharing these with just my family I wanted to share them with you.

These opinions will be from a different angle as only a cat like me can have.

Here are a few things about me:

Eating, which is perhaps why people call me sturdy. This is the polite way of saying “a brick wrapped in silk”. Sleeping, getting cuddles, tummy rubs, trying to catch lizards and running up and down the stairs. Also staring at birds on the decking at the back of the house.

Little sock, little ball and curly ribbon wand.

Royal Canin biscuits and Dine. And any type of potatoes chips.

Cat in the Hat, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and The Lion King.

Cats, nothing more need to be said.

Cats in the Cradle, What’s New Pussy Cat, Eye of the Tiger and Cat Daddy.

Sporting Teams

Geelong Cats, West Tigers, Detroit Tigers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Sacramental Kings (Slamson the lion being their mascot), Sunderland Black Cats
